The museum reopens on Saturday 22 May

We are very pleased to say that Vengerberg Museum will reopen on Saturday 22 May, fourteen months after we closed the doors in March last year.

For the first few weeks visits will be by timed entry, every half hour from 10.00, with a one-way route through the galleries. You do not need to book, but at busy times you may be asked to wait in the garden. The Old Schoolroom will stay closed for now because it is the smallest room in the building and the hardest to air.

The visitor information point reopens at the same time. Leaflets for the heritage walks are available again, and the volunteers have spent the winter bringing the accommodation list up to date.

Thank you to everyone who kept up their membership while we were closed. Of 438 members in March 2020, 402 renewed, and many added a donation.
